Klinik Kesihatan Sungai Buloh

HIV testing for couples getting married also available. Free.

Don't forget lunch break! Typically registration stops at 11.30am and continues at 2pm.  Morning registration ends early cause the patient will probably see the doctor at almost 1pm after all the pre-checks, registration and queue.
The thing about government clinics / hospitals is that it takes a long time to get from registration to treatment, but its so cheap its almost free and it's where all private medical centres refer to when they're out of ideas, and / or don't have the equipment that the government hospitals have because the government has more money to buy them than the private sector does.

Here's a typical route you'll take to get treatment at a public clinic:
Take a number > Pay RM 1 (for general doctor), RM 5 (for specialist), get a room number to go to > Blood pressure and temperature checks > see doctor > any other in between (x-ray, blood test, urine test, pap smear etc.) > see doctor again > pickup FREE medication

Registration / Payment. I arrived for the afternoon session around 2.30pm and it was full, took my number at Counter 1, waited 40 mins, paid RM 1 at Counter 2. 40 mins wait for RM 1 medical fees? No problem for me. Fees applicable for Malaysians only, so bring your MyKad.
*Side note: If you are in the construction industry, remember that every line you draw, every beam you place and every budget you cut affects these kids here. Children play anywhere and everywhere. Please keep our Malaysian buildings safe for them.
Consultation room. 2 doctors each. They'll block the room for privacy when its Gynae (sakit puan) related.
How are the doctors? It depends on Luck. Seriously. You can have the most caring and amazing empathetic doctor treating you or the most preoccupied one who looks at the piece of medical report they have to write longer than they look at you. If you somehow got the not-so-good doctor, the key is to be persistent. Really stress  what your problem is. Simple and polite questions can really twist their knots. 'So what should I do then Doctor?' 'Is there a cure?' and if you get brush off, come back again and again and again. Sounds like a real hassle ain't it? Well, for those who are blessed with a smaller budget, it's the best.

Sometimes you may get young doctors (newly appointed doctors), be kind to them and they will be kind to you. They're learning just as you are. So its best to Google what you think you have and then tell the doctor if its right. Bring several option if needed. 'I think I have... but everything I read is online one, so I not sure, is it right ah doctor?' An informed patients save the doctors and themselves time from misdiagnosis. Plain ignorance about our own health can be interpreted as lack of appreciation for our body, so why should anyone else care? Much?
Pregnant mothers section. Taken on a rainy day.
Consultation Waiting Area. Turn left and its the X-ray and Lab Testing area. The white signage with red letters is the place I see couples get tested for HIV. Straight ahead is cafeteria.
Overall: I'm satisfied with the service. Tons of people, but still friendly and kind nurses. Doctors are preoccupied, overloaded would be the positive assumption. Inexperienced doctors are placed in the same room, so they have to leave the room to ask the experienced ones, worst is when they ask each other. More phone intercom installation perhaps?

Parking. Plenty at the back. Free. Convenient for people from Kota Damansara, Kepong, Damansara -Sungai Buloh stretch.

Where is it? I've placed my location at the clinic's location. So you can route it from there. It's straight and right turn after the school. Look out for the signboard. Beautiful scenery by the way. Has a kampung feel to it.

Hospital Sungai Buloh is also nearby in case you get a referral letter to go to a hospital.
